Analysis of Indoor Propagation Models with ITU-R Model and Log Distance Model on 1800Mhz Communication
Abstract
Abstract Pathloss due to a barrier in the form of tall buildings, and walls in the building. In this study, we will estimate the path profit and loss on a 3G network at a frequency of 1800 MHz on the Caltex Riau Polytechnic campus to determine the value of the pathloss using the ITU-R and Log-distance models while using this method. determined and based on the distance function. With these two methods it is expected to minimize the pathloss that occurs in the PCR, so that telecommunications operators can adjust the signal so that users who are in the PCR building can get the maximum signal. Using the TEMS application in this study to determine the signal strength from the transimiter (BTS) to the receiver (user). Measurements will be made along the aisle and the results obtained will be calculated using the ITU-R and LOG-DISTANCE method. While the types of barriers that counteract the signal strength in the PCR building are the walls of each corridor, frequency and distance. The parameters used to calculate the pathloss in the PCR building are the frequencies and layers of walls that oppose the signal strength.
