Rancang Bangun Sistem Pengereman dan Bolak-Balik Motor DC
Abstract
Basically, many movers use DC motors where the DC motor itself can convert electrical energy into mechanical energy which is usually used as a driving force. Usually, to stop the DC motor, the rest of the rotation is waited until it runs out and comes to a complete stop. Meanwhile, to reverse the direction of motor rotation, it is usually done manually by reversing the polarity of the voltage by removing and reversing the wire connection at the terminal. So in this final project will be designed to build a braking system (braking system) on a DC motor and also a feature of reversing the rotation of the motor to the right and left by pressing the push button that has been installed on the panel. The braking method in this final project is focused on using resistors for dynamic braking implementation. The process itself is when the push button braking is pressed, the A2 / A3 / A4 pins in the micro will trigger the relay driver module and activate the NO pin connected to the resistor. Then the armature voltage will also be turned off by a program that has been downloaded to the Arduino. The motor will stop immediately after the push button is pressed. The resistor used is a resistor with a power of 15W with varying resistance. For the alternating feature, using a microcontroller as the basis for activating the alternating feature on the DC motor. To activate the back and forth process, simply press the push button on the panel then 5 seconds later the motor will move in the desired direction. From the test results, it is found that the braking time on a DC motor can be varied depending on the resistance value and the motor can be reversed perfectly.Published
