IMPLEMENTASI FILTER HARMONIC PADA PEMBANGKIT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS DAYA AKIBAT GANGGUAN HARMONIC
Abstract
The installation of nonlinear loads in the generating system can cause problems that can reduce the quality of electric power, the problem is harmonics. The existence of harmonics will affect the performance of the components in the electric power distribution system and even damage these components. To reduce harmonic distortion, harmonic filter design and installation is required. Low Pass Filter or often abbreviated as LPF is a filter or filter that passes low frequency signals and blocks or blocks high frequency signals. From the test results with the addition of Low Pass Filter, the harmonics can be damped on Line 1 THD V by 0.95% from 7.76% to 6.81% and THD I by 0.03% from 12.7% to 12.4 %. On Line 2 THD V was 1.57,% from 9.58% to 8.01% and THD I was 0.6% from 13.5% to 12.9%. On Line 3 THD V is 0.22% from 9.86% to 9.64% and THD I is 1.4% from 13.7% to 12.3% so that power losses can be reduced, but the harmonic damping at filter does not meet the standards of IEEE 519-1992.Published
