DESIGN OF TORC PLASMA CUTTING MOVEMENT TOOLS IN THE PIPE CUTTING PROCESS

Abstract

Metal cutting industries in Indonesia have various kinds of developments in the metal cutting field, both in terms of shape and method of cutting the metal. In addition, the models of raw materials needed also vary, therefore cutting tools are needed that are able to streamline time as quickly as possible and at low costs so that the company is able to reap greater profits. this final project proposal is the design of plasma cutting torc movement with 2 different methods using motion and simulation on solidwork applications in order to know the comparison between the 2 methods and find out the advantages and disadvantages of the tool itself. of these two designs, the first tool is more efficient than the second tool due to the less risk involved in its design but a little longer in design and time efficiency in cutting movements, but the costs used in the design are slightly more than the tool/ 2nd plan.
