Pemodelan Data Multidimensi Untuk Sistem Tracer Study di Politeknik Caltex Riau
Abstract
Riau Caltex Polytechnic (PCR) is a private university located in Riau Province. This service is addressed to a subject called students. The Caltex Riau Polytechnic has the recording of the PCR tracer study as a history of their visit in the form of student data. Tracer study data (alumni graduation) needs to be managed properly so as to produce information that can be used as evidence of PCR services, a source of data reporting for alumni graduation, and as a support in decision making. The Caltex Riau Polytechnic has managed the tracer study data using the system that has been built. However, the Caltex Riau Polytechnic needs a comparison using multidimensional data processing to produce better performance. Therefore, a web-based dashboard was created that can visualize tracer study data (alumni graduation) related to these problems. The dashboard is designed using the PHP programming language, the application of multidimensional data modeling using the Kimball nine step method which will be visualized on the dashboard. The results of the research conducted. Based on the Usability test, this system has carried out every function according to the needs and is functioning properly. Testing the system using UAT on the assistant manager has a 100% percentage result. The system can assist in the analysis process. Tracer Study has been accepted with an accurate UAT weight value. Based on the responses given by the respondents, it can be concluded that the user (Staff Tracer Study at Caltex Riau Polytechnic) stated that he strongly agreed that the system to provide the desired benefits was well accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the Tracer Study system helps users in obtaining alumni information.
