Rancang Bangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penentuan Siswa Terbaik Dengan Metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Berbasis Website (Studi Kasus : SMP Santo Tarcisius Dumai)
Abstract
Initially, based on calculations, SMP Santo Tarcisius was still manual and subjective, still using excel calculations. Various comments from parents and students appear about the validity of the value. The writer considers it necessary to measure accurately with the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. The SAW method was chosen because it determines the weight value for each perfect criterion by ranking it to produce the best students. Some of the criteria that determine the best student include Attitude Value, Knowledge Value, Skill Value, and Achievement. The author communicates with the school, namely the principal and student admin that building a good system and the school is very accepting of the evidence of the questionnaire for the survey that this system can be used as an objective and accurate alternative. Evidenced by the test results in the form of black-box testing of system functionality is running accordingly and can make it easier for users to use the system that has been built. From the survey results, they can use this method for the next order and with this system, a good relationship between the school and students is especially accurate and valid. The school welcomes the system built by the author as an alternative to determining the best student.Published
