Abstract

The State Electricity Company whose official name is PT. PLN (Persero) is one of the state-owned companies that takes care of all aspects of Indonesia's electricity. Based on the duties of ULP Taluk Kuantan as a Customer Service Unit that will serve every customer complaint properly and in an organized manner. At this time there are problems in the technician or technical service at PT. PLN ULP Taluk Kuantan which is still receiving complaints from customers through the call center without receiving valid evidence. By using the Android application, users can more easily report problems, anywhere and anytime. Android has features that support this application, one of which is the Global Positioning System (GPS) feature, where GPS can find out the user's position in real time. This application is also built using the prototyping method, which is a method to get an overview of the application obtained from the user first and then it will be evaluated by the user so that it can be a reference for application development. It is hoped that the results of this electricity network reporting application can help the engineering or technical service at PT. PLN ULP Taluk Kuantan in obtaining valid evidence. Based on the results of black box testing, the overall functional system has been functioning properly, this can help developers achieve the benefits of application development. User Acceptance Testing is given to 30 respondents. Overall, the features in the application that are built are in accordance with user needs.
