Web-based Asset Management Information System using the Waterfall Method (Case Study: Abdurrab Vocational High School)

Abdurrab Vocational High School (SMK) is a formal educational institution that upholds the value of technology in the application of its activities. Although schools have implemented information technology in some of their activities, for the inventory management system there is no complete record of inventory and loan transactions. This causes schools not to have supporting data to make annual reports, schools cannot provide a recapitulation of inventory data and loan transactions to analyze future inventory and analyze customer demand at a certain time. Determination of the purchase price is done by calculating manually so that sometimes errors occur in calculations and also take time. Based on the problems that have been described, a solution is given to build an information system for inventory, determining purchase prices, and web-based lending transactions at SMK Abdurrab using the Watefall method. There are two testing methods, namely black box testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). Based on the black box testing conducted, it can be concluded that all system functionality is as expected and successful. And based on UAT testing of 10 respondents, it was found that 81.3% of respondents strongly agree that this application is useful, then 79.5% of respondents agree that this application is easy to learn, then 76.6% of respondents agree that this application can save time in its use, and 71.1% of respondents strongly agree that the resulting application is acceptable and as desired.References
