Sistem Keamanan Loker Berbasis GSM Module, Bluetooth Module dan Reed Sensor

Loker merupakan tempat penyimpanan yang dibutuhkan bagi perusahaan dengan jumlah pekerja yang besar. Mengambil contoh kasus pada hotel xyz di Batam yang masih menggunakan kunci loker manual dan menemui beberapa kendala karena menjalankan regulasi khusus terkait akses loker. Sebuah sistem keamanan loker berbasis GSM module, bluetooth module dan reed sensor menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat diimplementasikan di hotel tersebut. Seorang manajer dapat memberi akses loker melalui SMS walaupun tidak berada di dekat loker, selain itu penggunaan smartphone juga mempermudah serta meminimalisir kunci yang hilang atau tertinggal. Hasil pengujian fungsi alat menunjukkan bahwa purwarupa dari sistem loker yang dibuat bekerja secara baik. Pengujian saat sistem menggunakan GSM module, SMS perintah diterima dengan waktu maksimal 8,52 detik pada urban area dan 10,7 detik pada rural area. Sedangkan pengujian menggunakan bluetooth module, dapat terkoneksi dengan smartphone pada jarak maksimal hingga 14,5 meter tanpa halangan, dan 12 meter jika diberi penghalang.
