AI Declaration

Jurnal Elementer acknowledges the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academic writing and research. To maintain research integrity and transparency, we have established the following policy regarding the use of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies.

For Authors

  1. Authorship: AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) cannot be listed as an author or co-author. Authorship requires human accountability, legal responsibility, and the ability to approve the final version of the manuscript.
  2. Human Accountability: Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and validity of their manuscript. AI tools should only be used to improve readability and language quality, not to replace human critical thinking, data analysis, or the formulation of sociological concepts.
  3. Disclosure Requirement: Authors must transparently disclose the use of AI tools in their manuscript. A clear declaration statement must be included at the end of the manuscript, before the reference list.

For Reviewers and Editors

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers and Editors are strictly prohibited from uploading any part of a submitted manuscript into public AI tools. Doing so violates the author's confidentiality and proprietary rights.
  • Peer Review Integrity: The evaluation of manuscripts must rely on human expertise, critical judgment, and sociological understanding. AI must not be used to generate peer-review reports or editorial decisions.
