Abstract

This study aims to develop and improve the capabilities of the Bellyra music player robot version 1.0. The development is carried out on several features including interface between user and robot was replaced using a TFT touchscreen which is proved more practical and the process of updating the library of songs is done by utilizing the service features of Google Sheets so that it becomes more flexible. The ability of the robot in terms of playing the melody of the song is improved by using alphabetical and symbolic codes that represent the melody and tempo of the song. The results showed that the Bellyra robot version 2.0 had been able to play the melody of the song properly for slow and medium rhythm nevertheless for faster melody could not be played properly due to the limited response of servo motor and unstable mechanical design.
