Usulan Model Kualitas Aplikasi Context Aware Mobile: Family Tracking pada Hybrid-Cross Platform

Terdapat beberapa teknik pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi atau interaksi antar anggota keluarga, salah satunya penggunaan media yang dapat meningkatkan awareness orang tua kepada anak atau sebaliknya. Penelitian ini mengusulkan model kualitas yang dapat dijadikan referensi bagi pengembang aplikasi mobile untuk meningkatkan interaksi antar anggota keluarga dengan penerapan context aware pada fitur monitor keberadaan dan aktivitas anggota keluarga. Aplikasi ini kemudian disebut dengan Family Tracking. Lokasi dan waktu menjadi konteks dalam penelitian ini dengan penalaran konteks menggunakan teknik rules. Untuk monitoring, dibutuhkan teknologi yang umum digunakan keluarga dan bisa dibawa kemana saja, yaitu smartphone. Sehingga model kualitas ini akan spesifik pada lingkup aplikasi mobile. Terdapat beberapa pilihan sistem operasi smartphone, seperti Android, Windows dan iOS. Keragaman jenis sistem operasi ini menimbulkan tantangan bagaimana mengembangkan aplikasi dalam 1 kali tahap pemrograman tapi mampu menghasilkan aplikasi yang dapat berjalan di sistem operasi apa saja atau disebut juga dengan cross platform. Pendekatan hybrid dipilih karena menggunakan pendekatan pemrograman web. Dengan merujuk pada ISO 9126-2, dihasilkan usulan model yang terdiri atas  4 faktor kualitas dan 7 sub faktor kualitas, yaitu functionality (accuracy, security, suitability), usability, (learnability, operability) efficiency (resource utilization) dan portability (adaptability, installability), serta 12 metriks yang dapat digunakan untuk evaluasi kualitas aplikasi setelah pengembangan selesai.Downloads
